Serap Erdogan (1972-TURKEY)
She was born in 1972 in Malatya. She graduated from Marmara University, Fa-
culty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics and Glass in 1996. She completed her
Ph.D. thesis on “Porcelain as a Contemporary Ceramic Material”. She has a solo
exhibition in Burgas, Bulgaria. Every year she participates in national and inter-
national group exhibitions. She has 6 awards: 64th State Ceramics Competition
Award, MU Fine Arts Institute Excellence Award, 2nd Cairo Ceramic Biennial,
Tolga Eti Ceramic Competition 2nd Prize, Bozhöyük Ceramic Competition Spe-
cial Award, Izmir Rotary Club Golden Jug Ceramic Competition Special Award.
And Erdoğan is still working as an Instructor at Marmara University in İstanbul.
